About DNA Biopharm
Established in 1989, DNA Biopharm has a long-standing commitment to the diabetic community in South Africa. We specialize in the research, development, and manufacture of unique herbal products tailored to the South African market.
Our operations are fully compliant with international standards. We are registered with SAHPRA and approved by the FDA (Reg. No. 17909018848) as an importer, exporter, and manufacturer of herbal products. Our manufacturing facility meets all ISO standards and adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Expertise and Leadership
Our board includes Dr. Helen Muir, a pioneer in cancer research and a registered homeopath, who oversees product evaluation and clinical trials. The late Dr. Pierre van der Merwe, a respected neurologist, inspired the development of several of our flagship products, including Migra-Fast, Cerebro-Fast, Mito-Choice, and Neuro-Fast.
The company is managed by Lionel and Camilla Crewe, with Vanessa Gardiner serving as our responsible pharmacist, ensuring strict compliance with GMP protocols.

We use only non-GMO raw ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers. Each batch is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and undergoes rigorous quality checks before production. Full batch records are maintained for traceability and quality assurance.

They actively verify the reliability of their partners through stringent quality practices and work closely with growers and pickers to ensure optimal yield and guarantee a high quality extract at the end of the process. Our supplier meticulously examines each batch of raw material while in the field macroscopically, and in their certified state-of- the-art laboratory for identity, potency, and purity.

Ultimately designed to improve product confidence, our supplier has established programs that consist of an identification verification program and a program with tracking procedures that control and verify product characteristics at every stage of the manufacturing process, from arrival of raw materials through to storage, production, warehousing, and sales.
